AT OUR HISTORIC FAMILY FARM IN KENT
AT OUR HISTORIC FAMILY FARM IN KENT
Spring has well and truly sprung on Castle Farm! The Lavender rows are looking lush and green, developing their buds ahead of late June flowering. Visit the farm shop for local produce - Kent jam & honey, crisps & snacks, cakes & treats, local cheese & Castle Farm Beef.
The Farm Shop is open Tuesday - Sunday and the Coffee Cart will be open by the shop serving snacks and barrista take away coffees.
Please follow us on social media or sign up to our newsletter for seasonal information.
The Hop Shop on Castle Farm overlooks the meadows of the River Darent and our farming policy has ensured that the picturesque quality of the valley’s landscape has been retained.
Our farm shop offers quality farm foods, seasonal fruit, treats, gifts and seasonal decorations.
We also have our Coffee Cart open by the shop every day.
Castle Farm entrance is down a private drive directly off the A225, halfway between the villages of Shoreham and Eynsford, or via Redmans Lane, near Lullingstone Visitor Centre.
The postcode of TN14 7UB can be inaccurate, and take you to the wrong entrance - so follow local signage, or use this link via Google Maps.
On the what3words app, the A225 entrance is: leaves.tell.designor Redmans Lane entry.pies.tools
There are stations at Eynsford and Shoreham, both of which are 1.5 miles from the farm along the A225 or, as a longer walk between the two villages, along the Darent Valley Footpath (see information below for arriving on foot).
There are no taxi ranks at either of these stations. The nearest taxi ranks are at Swanley, Sevenoaks or Orpington. Check train times at Trainline or National Rail.
Go2 provide a request bus service along the A225 to a bus stop at the top of our drive. This service does not operate on Sundays or after 7.30pm.
www.go2now.co.uk or 01732 463964 or search App Store for go2 Sevenoaks. Please note, the only permitted pedestrian access from the A225 will be to a pre-booked limited time event in one of the fields. There is no further pedestrian access through the farm. Please read event information carefully before booking a ticket.
There is a delightful Darent Valley Footpath from Shoreham to Eynsford which goes past some of the lavender fields. You can enter Castle Farm at the Redmans Lane entry, just along from the Lullingstone Visitor Centre.
