We look forward to welcoming you to Castle Farm and our little slice of the Darenth Valley!

The Hop Shop overlooks the meadows of the River Darent and our farming policy has ensured that the picturesque quality of the valley’s landscape has been retained. Our farm shop offers quality farm foods, seasonal fruit, treats, gifts and seasonal decorations.

To allow our customers to shop safely, we are currently limiting the number of individuals allowed in the shop at anyone time, so please be patient.

    HOW TO FIND CASTLE FARM

    • BY ROAD
    • BY TRAIN
    • BY BUS
    • BY FOOT

The Castle Farm Drive Thru Shop entrance is down a private drive directly off the A225, halfway between the villages of Shoreham and Eynsford. Satnavs using the postcode of TN14 7UB will take you to the exit on Redmans Lane so we recommend you pin us on googlemaps and then follow local signage.

On the what3words app, the Drive Thru entrance is: leaves.tell.design. The exit is entry.pies.tools

There are stations at Eynsford and Shoreham, both of which are 1.5 miles from the farm along the A225 or, as a longer walk between the two villages, along the Darent Valley Footpath (see information below for arriving on foot). There are no taxi ranks at either of these stations. The nearest taxi ranks are at Swanley, Sevenoaks or Orpington. See bus/taxi options below.

Go2 provide a request bus service along the A225 to a bus stop at the top of our drive. This service does not operate on Sundays or after 7.30pm.

www.go2now.co.uk or 01732 463964 or search App Store for go2 Sevenoaks. Please note, the only permitted pedestrian access from the A225 will be to a pre-booked limited time event in one of the fields. There is no further pedestrian access through the farm. Please read event information carefully before booking a ticket.

There is a delightful Darent Valley Footpath from Shoreham to Eynsford which goes past some of the lavender fields. Unfortunately access into the farm (where the shop is located) is not possible from the footpath but at busy times in the summer there will be a small Walkers’ Kiosk and Information Point on the footpath.

Please note, the only permitted pedestrian access from the A225 will be to a pre-booked limited time event in one of the fields. There is no public footpath or right of way between the lavender fields near the A225 entrance and those on Redmans Lane by the exit. For access on foot to pre-booked ticketed events, please read the event information carefully before booking as this will specify whether access needs to be off the A225 entrance or near the Walkers’ Kiosk.
