The Lavender at Castle Farm usually begins bloom in mid / late June through until late July when we harvest the flowers for their precious Lavender Essential Oil.

From mid-June to late July, our fields will burst into purple colour across the valley. We run a variety of events set in different fields across the farm, so you can enjoy the spectacular views and learn about lavender farming. Pre-booking is strongly advised as many events sell out.
2026 TICKETS
Our first drop of tickets and event calendars will be released Thursday 26th March. Please sign up to our newsletter or follow us on socials @castlefarmkent to be the first to be notified. A second release of dates will be made in early June once we can see the progress of the lavender growth throughout the spring. This may include earlier dates.
Customers with a VIP picnic experience vouchers to redeem, will be given access 48 hours before on Tuesday 24th of March.

The Farm Shop is open Tuesday - Sunday throughout the year (closed on Mondays), offering farm foods, Lavender products, gifts, decorations and seasonal produce. There is always something new - and you can take in the lovely water meadow views while you enjoy a hot drink from the Coffee Cart.

Fresh Lavender bunches are available late June to late July. Dried Lavender is availbale all year round.
DOGS
Well behaved dogs are very welcome on a lead around the farm yard. We also allow dogs in our Lavender Field Walk event. Dogs are not permitted inside the shop or at our other field events.
