ALL THE DETAILS TO PLAN YOUR VISIT TO CASTLE FARM LAVENDER
Our Castle Farm Lavender fields are only in flower from late June until late July. This year, the Lavender was hit by an unprecedented 3 nights of frost in May, which damaged many of the young Lavender buds. The plant will recover, but flowering is likely to be late this year. Harvesting for the precious Lavender Oil starts in mid-July and continues until early August – but this is obviously weather dependent.
Our Farm Shop - The Hop Shop – is currently operating as a pretty little Farm Shop Drive Thru. You can download our drive thru brochure, and handy shopping lists to browse all of the wonderful local products on offer. You can then drive to the farm to place and collect your order – all from the comfort and safety of your vehicle. You will be able to see the beautiful fields in flower from your vehicle, and enjoy the relaxing scent in the air, whilst collecting seasonal produce, Lavender products, fresh bunches, Lavender plants, decorations and some of our farm shop favourites.
Castle Farm has been turned into a one-way system to deliver this offering – with entry only from the A225. There will be no foot traffic allowed within the farm gates.
Castle Farm Drive Thru Shop opening times:
Open Wednesday - Sunday from 10am - 5pm
