Lavandula angustifolia – generally a compact plant with a mass of thin stems and blunt-topped flowerheads. Lovely strong scent, prized for oil production for perfumery, pharmaceuticals and toiletries. Flowers from late June. Hardy in winter. Culinary herb use – it has a sweet, soft flavour for desserts and drinks.

Hidcote - Lavandula angustifolia Hidcote' is a bushy dwarf evergreen shrub with narrow, silvery-grey leaves and small deep violet-purple flowers in dense, aromatic spikes.

Ultimate height 51-06cm, ultimate spread 71-80cm. Time to ultimate height 2-5 years.
