AT OUR HISTORIC FAMILY FARM IN KENT
OUR FARM SHOP IS OPEN
As we head into second lockdown, in line with all guidelines, our farm shop ‘The Hop Shop’ will remain OPEN! We have shelves filled with essentials including farm foods, Castle Farm Beef, apples, spaghetti squash, freezer meals from COOK, fresh eggs, drinks, cakes, treats, cheese, flour, teas, jams & chutneys. Avoid the supermarkets, and shop from the farm. We have excellent suppliers who will keep us stocked up with the best.
To keep our team, and customers safe, we ask you to please use the hand sanitiser provided, wear a face mask and observe social distancing when shopping with us. If the shop has reached capacity, you will be asked to wait outside until it’s your turn to enter.
NEW SHOP OPENING HOURS
Tuesday - Saturday: 9am-5pm
Sundays & Bank Holidays: 10am-5pm
Festive decoration vibes fill the shop as we head into Winter.. take a look while you shop for your food and drink essentials. Pretty wreaths, swags and table decorations to bring the Christmas Spirit into your home this December!
The Hop Shop overlooks the meadows of the River Darent and our farming policy has ensured that the picturesque quality of the valley’s landscape has been retained. Our farm shop offers quality farm foods, seasonal fruit, treats, gifts and seasonal decorations.
To allow our customers to shop safely, we are currently limiting the number of individuals allowed in the shop at any one time, so please be patient.
The Hop Shop entrance is down a private drive directly off the A225, halfway between the villages of Shoreham and Eynsford, or via Redmans Lane.
Satnavs using the postcode of TN14 7UB can be inaccurate, and take you to the wrong entrance - so follow local signage, or use this link via Google Maps.
There are stations at Eynsford and Shoreham, both of which are 1.5 miles from the farm along the A225 or, as a longer walk between the two villages, along the Darent Valley Footpath (see information below for arriving on foot).
Go2 provide a request bus service along the A225 to a bus stop at the top of our drive. This service does not operate on Sundays or after 7.30pm.
www.go2now.co.uk or 01732 463964 or search App Store for go2 Sevenoaks. Please note, the only permitted pedestrian access from the A225 will be to a pre-booked limited time event in one of the fields. There is no further pedestrian access through the farm. Please read event information carefully before booking a ticket.
There is a delightful Darent Valley Footpath from Shoreham to Eynsford which goes past some of the lavender fields. You can enter Castle Farm at the Redmans Lane entry, just along from the Lullingstone Visitor Centre.
